Billing settings

This article will explain recurring and non-recurring payments in Froxy, as well as the specifics of combining them.

In the Billing settings section, you can manage your payment methods. Adding new ones, updating information, choosing which payment method should be used as primary or secondary, deleting non-relevant payment methods -- all you need for being actual and avoid troubles occurring performing payments.

In Froxy you can pay for your subscriptions with two different features: using added cards (recurring payments) and the Balance (non-recurring payments).

When you add a card as a payment method you only need to insert all necessary data in Billing Settings and all the next payments will be performed automatically according to your subscription's next billing dates.

When you use the Balance, firstly you need to add funds to the Balance, and only after it your subscription will be prolongated using funds from the Balance. You can add funds to your Balance anytime you want, any withdrawals from the Balance will be operated in full accordance with your subscription's next billing date. It gives you more control over your finances and gives you flexibility. If you don't have enough funds on your Balance and don't have any added card, your subscription won't be prolongated.

NOTICE: if you combine both cards and the Balance, you need to know that firstly Froxy will use funds from the Balance and if there are not enough funds to pay for your subscription, there will be initiated a charge from your card with the prorated amount (example: if you have a subscription with $100 monthly payments and you have $50 on your Balance, Froxy will try to charge the rest $50 from your added card). If there are still not enough funds to pay, there will be no charges, your subscription will be canceled forcibly due to non-payment.
