Connecting to Proxy in Google Chrome

In this article, you will learn how to connect a proxy in Google Chrome using the internal Windows settings.

By default, calling proxy settings in Google Chrome redirects you to your OS proxy settings.

To set up a proxy server in Google Chrome, follow the steps:

  1. Open Google Chrome and click the ip-icon menu in the upper right corner of the browser window.
  2. Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
    In some versions of Chrome, you must first click your Google profile and Customize your Chrome.

  3. At the bottom left, under System, select Open your computer’s proxy settings.

  4. Next, select Manual proxy set up > Use a proxy server > Set up

  5. In the proxy server settings, specify the server and port from your personal account https://froxy.com/ru/subscriptions and click Save.

  6. Next, when you open any tab in the browser, a window will appear asking you to enter your proxy login and password. You can copy them from your personal account.

After entering the authentication data, the proxy will work in the browser.
